Dr. Kathleen Roberson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the youngest of four children born to Charlie and Nellie Roberson. Her early spiritual and religious training was received at the Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ, under the pastoral leadership of her father, Bishop C.F. Roberson Jr. From early childhood Dr. Roberson loved being a “PK” and working in the church.

Dr. Roberson was officially licensed as an evangelist in May 1995, at the age of 24, under the leadership of the Reverend, Dr. Melvin Jenkins, Senior Pastor and Founder of Victory Christian Assembly in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Her love for ministry has endured. She served the Kingdom Legacy Alliance (KLA) as the Chief Adjutant to Bishop Roberson  from the organization’s inception in 2005 through December 2017. After serving Bishop Roberson faithfully for twelve years in that capacity, in May 2018, Bishop Roberson publicly appointed her as the General Overseer for the entire organization.

She became a member of the New Life Anointed Christian Center (The Life Church) of Woodbridge, VA in 1998.  Under the discipleship of Bishop Eugene Reeves, she continued to soar both spiritually and professionally.  Kathleen was ordained as an Elder in December 2002 and appointed as Youth Pastor in February 2003. Under her leadership the Youth Ministry grew from a department consisting of three ministries to eighteen fully operating ministries, earning it the knick-name ‘Unstoppable’. Dr. Roberson was elevated to the office of Associate Pastor in January 2007 and was appointed as Bishop Reeves’ Chief of Staff in January 2010. In January 2012 she was appointed as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Bishop and was responsible for assisting him with developing and executing the organization’s strategy and programs both locally and overseas.

After twenty years of distinguished service to Bishop Eugene Reeves and The Life Church, Dr. Roberson ended here tenure there to begin a new chapter in her ministry work. Dr. Roberson was installed as Senior Pastor of True Light Pentecostal Church in Savannah Georgia on September 9, 2018, succeeding her father, Bishop Charlie Roberson Jr. in the pastorate upon his retirement.

Dr. Roberson has earned a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in Strategic Leadership from the Regent University.

Dr. Roberson is the loving mother of three excellent young adults, Makeda, Avery and Jared and is devoted to supporting them in fulfilling their destinies as Kingdom leaders.
